This poem is so incredibly deep for being so short. Yu have managed to sum up the last minutes of someone's life in this powerful short verse, and use a language that is so captivating and unique.

I could picture the hospital room, the machines with all the lines everywhere, and then of course the awful noise when that line goes straight and the heart no longer beats.

Your poem is so powerful, and I think the word Farewell being at the end was a great touch too.

It also leaves the reader open minded about who this character was, and did they have anyone with them at this time, and what kind of life did they have. It is an easy poem to put into your own situation.

I love how different each of the pieces end up being. But yours was by far the one I identify with the most at the moment. The descriptions were amazing for having a restricted amount of words. The single line ending was great and the way you were able to share so much of yourself so deeply, so quickly, and so clearly. Wonderfully penned.
