An interesting little poem, Dagmar, that is wonderfully full in its briefness, if that makes sense. It is very pleasing to the eye, also. Three very smart, clipped stanzas.
Well done and all the best,

Well written. Very interesting topic indeed. It is very sad how much some people wear layers on them and how difficult it has become to find true purity in this World. This poem makes sense to me. :-)

What a sad piece. It's a shame that so many people put on a false front, pretending to be something they aren't.
    Great job!

Nice write Dag, because of the masks many of us wear it's difficult to see who is really under there, pull it off and many would flee but sometimes a real person is there to see!
Liked the line where the eyes could not be seen. I remember when I was young and was asked why I always smiled when I really did not want to, that mask was pulled off and rightly so. Great poem-nominated!
