Andrea, this is just beautiful. To be in such deep spots in life, the scars you bear are a testament to you being a survivor, stay strong! Hugs!

This is a true testimony of a survivor. That moment where you pull your hair along with coffee and cigarettes to the point it makes you nauseated. Dealing with those scars burried deep inside . People don't understand unless the shoe fits. Time shall pass but I am not sure if wounds ever will. You are such a strong person and to heck with ignorant people. I can't stand them. Many hugs and stay strong

    "Those ignorant moments become poems
and I don't feel like wasting my ink
on things that people will never understand-"

This is why I find myself so often writing about my fertility. Oh my goodness gracious, I connected to this poem so strongly. <3

Scars are the maps of our lives and sometimes beauty is born because of unprovoked ignorance.

Your poem reflects one who is beautiful.
