    Michael, I like how you used 2 poetry forms to make your own unique style. It pays off as always. I loved the eerie feel to the piece.

    The message feels to me to be saying: Take each day as it comes and follow your dreams because like this acorn dreamed of the big oak tree (dreamed big) but then death came earlier than expected so no matter what your dreams are we all end up the same.

    Another short message. Very sad to think of the poor acorn with such dreams of growing into a great oak only to die prematurely of a disease.

    It is also another great metaphor for life. So many born and grow with dreams of what they want to do with their lives only to have it taken away prematurely.

    A thought provoking piece with a lot of sadness behind it. Milly x
