Is she the figure your burn for?

Is she the figure your burn for?
By; Paula .C.

What does her name do to you?
Do you feel something special when you hear it?
Does it make you think of her, picture her perfection?
Do I get erased from your mind?
Pushed into the back of your thoughts, where I'm covered by memories, totally and completely out of sight?
Do you smile when you see her name?
Do you get sad, when you glimpse someone in a crowd
and thought it was her but it wasn't?
When you kiss me, do images of her fill your head?
When you touch me, do you picture her instead?
Do you secretly wish it was her lying beside you at night?
Do you wish it was her you could hold so close and tight?
Oh How cruel life is to me, filling me with doubts and insecurities.
that I shall not be enough for you...and in the end I will inevitably loose.
Can you imagine living life each day as if you were walking through a wall of thorns...
with each passing day, each new fall, looking more and more forlorn.
Can you picture your self being placid as each excruciating twist causes your heart to tear,
TRY staring with dead eyes as you die bye the hands of the one you hold most dear...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After falling into a hectic time, where life wasn't what it use to be, and love was demolished.. I lost order in my life and I don't exactly know when I wrote this.. I have many pieces i have written without publishing them and I'm deciding to share them now...
Thanks for reading
    This is definately filled with so much emotion . I had someone in my mind while i was reading this .. And it really did make me sad . Even though the lines are really long , they don't seem to lose much of their flow . It's kind of strange how only some of the poem rhymes .. But that's minor . 5/5 for sure .
    I really like this. I didn't get the rhythm and "When you kiss me, does images" should be "When you kiss me, do images. Great poem though. I really got that feeling of hurt!
