Do Angels Have Birthday Parties In Heaven? (Birthday Tribute)

Another year has gone by since I've blown out the candles for you Mommy; You would've been the big 41 this year. Seems like just the other day you turned 39- Just a few short months after God took you off of this Earth. Oh how I wish you were here to celebrate with us; We'd eat angel bread cake just like we did when Matt and I were kids... We would do it all.

I hope Grandma and you are up in Heaven celebrating- I can imagine beautiful angels all dressed in white throwing you a party. I close my eyes and imagine your beautiful smile. I have to stop myself from crying; It just gets hard sometimes. Happy Birthday to the most beautiful angel in Heaven.

Who am I kidding, you and I both know I can't help myself but cry- I put one single candle in a doughnut for you; I know how much you loved doughnuts. In the best voice I have, I sing happy birthday for you Mommy; I blow the candle out at the end of the song and wish to see you again one day. I love you Mommy...

Wow I never really thought about celebrating birthdays in the afterlife. I like the originality in your poem. Well I guess in the afterlife, we would be ageless; we would be youthful throughout. I think wherever your mom are now, she would definitely be happy to read this;)
