When I'm gone, remember me.
Please don't be sad or cry,
just enjoy the days ahead of you
and don't live on our last goodbye.
I hope you play my favourite songs
and I hope you sing along.
Please dress in your Sunday best
and be extremely strong.
Forever, you thought I'd last
but life always comes to an end.
Remember me as your wife,
your daughter and your best friend.
I know you will miss me
but please don't shed any tears
because I will be looking down on you
and I will be taking away all of your fears.
You'll never forget me,
I'll constantly be on your mind.
I will be reminiscing about you all
and I will be thinking about what I've left behind.
You I will miss forever
and I know you'll miss me too.
But the ending of my life
was long and truly overdue.
