So sick of trying when all I do is cry
Tired of always smiling when it's all a lie
Trying so hard yet it's never enough
Feeling I'm alone whenever it gets rough

Everyday this feeling becomes worse
Don't know how long I can deal with this hurt
Never knew that I could feel this bad
Or that you'd be able to make me so sad

Love you more than you'll ever know
Such a shame it may be time to go
Always thought that we'd stay together
Guess you don't know the meaning of forever

Promised you'd never hurt me, so why do I cry?
Guess the love I need you can no longer supply
I know I'm not perfect, and I it's not just you
Yet it seems you don't care the hurt you put me through

All I do is try, but it seems I can do no right
I'm tired of this, I no longer want to fight
So now it's time to give up, I'm giving in
I guess this is a battle I just can't win
