There's a feeling of suffocation
in the back of my throat. It's constricting
the esophagus and blocking the oxygen
trying to escape me. Suddenly
my breathing begins to quicken
and my heart throbs erratically.
I can feel the blood pulsating underneath my skin;
every vein visible all over my body.
Skin to skin. Eye to eye. Lip to lip.
These are fear itself.
Hand to hand,
tongue to tongue,
a smile.
An invisible needle pricks my eyeballs
and begs to pour blood. Only this time,
it's transparent and salty. Rivers begin to flow
against my cheeks, every wave bringing
a hotter sensation that heats the ache
that dwells within my soul.
Suddenly, I'm trembling and my balance wavers.
Fallen knees and labored breaths, my very core
begins to scream. Darkness looms over me and I begin to deny the very thing I live for.
Go away,
please stay,
go away, please stay,
go away, please stay, go away,
please stay, go away, please stay,
go away, please stay, go away, please stay,
go away, please stay go away please stay go away please goaway pleasestay goaway pleasey stay goawaypleasestaygoawaypleasestay--
