Dying Deadly

by KeyxMashingxParody   Jan 18, 2010

The moment seems to surround you,
Like walls closing in, suffocating the air.
Time stops as it binds you,
Like chains and fetters, a painful pair.

You never say never out loud,
Yet you cannot breath, only choke.
Your hands are young yet weary,
Still shaking, after your heart broke.

Sweat runs down your spine,
It's difficult to walk, with broken legs.
Your cheeks flushed blood red,
In drunken madness, from six kegs.

You stumble to the cold ground,
Concrete is your friend, from your past.
Your head shatters from the fall,
Yet the pain is gone, it doesn't last.

The he said she said act grows dull,
As crowds begin to spread, like a disease.
You silence your breath to the wind,
As mercy abandons you, and your pleas.

Shush my darling it's almost over,
Your pain will subside, with lies.
Allow me to free your broken soul,
Leaving your body to rot, with the flies.

They say breaking a heart is simple,
Like a puzzle, children complete.
Yet breaking an already dead heart,
Dying isn't quite, as easy.

I haven't been here in a while, thought I'd come back with something new. Enjoy.
