You are the Reason for My Scars

Do you see the pain in my eyes
Do you see the scars on my wrists
Do you see my tears in my eyes
This is all because of you
And everything you've put me through

I let you play with me for your own entertainment
But I am not your personal doll
I can't stand you anymore
Treating me like dirt

You don't ever notice what you've done to me
Somehow my heart hasn't gotten the message to stop loving you
My mind says to hate you

You put me through hell these past months
Why did I let you do that to me
I feel as if I will never be how i was before
Someone happy who had confidence

You degraded me and told me I was ugly
But somehow I still am holding on to you
Someone tell me why
Until my mind can tell me the answer,
You are the reason for my scars

Very touching and sad poem i can relate i have a scar on the side of my arm when i cut myself and a cut on my hand form my desk scars remain no matter what you do 5/5
