A babys point of view

by Cheyenne   Oct 11, 2012

Mummy, mummy.
What is happening to me?
Why are they scraping me out?
What are these tools?
Who are these people?
Mummy, mummy.
Wake up, please wake up.
And put this pain to an end.
I think they are killing me,
But how could they be so cruel,
Isnt this illegal.
Mummy, mummy.
Are you the reason behind this?
Did u pay for this murder?
How could you do this to me?
What did i do to you?
Please mummy!
Stop this from happening.
You know you will regret it,
you know this will cause you pain.
Please mummy, let me live.
I want a chance to survive,
A chance at life.
Mummy, mummy.
Im gone,
You will pay for this one way or another.
I could of been the answer to your dreams,
The answer to your problems.
This is all your fault,
Dont bother to explain,
Dont come up with petty excuses,
you shouldve fought for me.
But its too late now.
Im gone mummy.
But i will still love you forever.
One day ill forgive you.
Ill be your blessing.
And will get the chance to finally meet daddy.

This is serious subject and very touchy subject for many. Today many people feels it's OK to abort a baby but I am totally against such cruelness, I think that it's important for people to understand that's a life been taken.

This is one poem where the juvenile wording is very powerful. Having said that I am going to give it what it deserves 5/5

Great job in writing about something so controversial in todays world. It started off sad and like an abortion poem does but then the hatred coming from this unborn child. It definitely gave me chills. Pro-life.

Its about a pretty controversial topic, which makes it interesting, and i can tell you definitely feel very strongly about subject matter. it was emotional and dark yet jagged, an effect i assume you were going for as it conveys tension and fear. it was difficult to read both because of the flow, and because of the subject matter, but i am just one person and dont let that discourage you.
