Light-Hearted

by Smaccams   Mar 25, 2014

Your eyes used to resemble a welcoming fireplace,
That would ignite from every second thought that was placed in your corner of potential.
They would brighten up the room,
And set each own's mind ablaze.
You gave them a pleasant aura, of warmth, and of reassurance.
You gave them clarity.
So why can't you illuminate my hopes for me now?
Am I simply out of reach of your light,
Or are you burning out - .
