Remnants

by Chris Swiderski   Mar 26, 2014

I hear you, everywhere;
But I see only memories,
of days passed by.

I feel you, in my heart;
But you remain unhuggable.

I know you, your essence;
But I may no longer delve,
Into the knowledge of your being.

The memories may fade.
The hugs, will go wanting.
The knowledge may become
Not, but yesterdays old news.

Still, your energy
Shall forever remain.
