The hard goodbye

As i think into the past,
I see you.

When you look down from the sky,
Do you see me too?

As many tears are shed
The memories of you fill my head.

As i say my last goodbye
"It was too soon" is all i cry.

As you lay beneath the ground alone,
My goodbye is a flower upon your stone

    Somber write, and true to an extent. It is hard to say good bye but I would like to hope one day we'll see the ones we've lost again. You made this poem full of power and emotion, mourning the loss of this person. Stay strong.
