Kiss Tattoo

by Ridge   May 16, 2014

One day I'll find between my cards, the meaning of my life
As she lays beside me, sleeping
I smile through the short while
And to sanctify this obsolete harmony, I retreat to writing

She is the woman with the kiss tattoo
Her air is black and her eyes are green
I run my fingers through the light blue air
I walk a water mile, I'll be sure to drop my guard

Out the door I chose to be a runaway, lost in my thoughts
Thinking about nothing, playing solitaire
I can't chase your fortune, nor swoon in your standards
Come on over and show me, the beauty of your verse

Walking under hypnotic moon, elevated up in thunder
My transparent mind connects with your desires
My sympathy grows upon the dreams
And asphyxiating sensations from past disillusions

Forbidden lies scorching my personnality
I feel laced, I'm sorry I have to leave
I'll be fine entangled into a nightmare fantasy
Let me field the ground, let me deposit your crown
Just don't let me down
