Heres my goodbye to you

by Mylie   Jul 8, 2014

I remember when we said we would love eachother forever, I remember all the things you said to me.
I wish I could forget that day you left, I replay that day in my head over and over, on repeat.

I wish I could have distinguished the truth from all the lies, maybe if I looked more closely. I wouldn't be the one wondering why.

all the good memories are more forgot, the bad memories and all the horrible words you said never left my head.

you made me smile, laugh but cry. I was in a deep depression and always asking myself why.
how could this love I had for you turn into such hate.
why did I feel guilty when it was way too hard to take.

I have moved on and you have too. I hope you find happiness because I am finally through. I'm done with all the bullshit, all your dirty little lies, all your anger, I'm done with hurting, I'm done with your screams, I finally done.

This is the last time you will hear me say goodbye.

Again, I think the content of the poem is very well expressed, easy to relate to and well put together. But the layout is a bit off-putting for me.

There are also some errors in punctuation, you have some capital letters, but then miss some others out at the beginning of sentences.

But, with a little edit, it would be a great poem. Reminds me of a Rhianna song.

    Good job.

Next time I write a new poem, I will put it more together, sometimes when I write it just comes to me and I don't look for errors.

      Thank you :)
