Past tense

by Yakari Gabriel   Jul 13, 2014

I used to,
I used to want you so much.
just you, just here. skin on skin.
bodies covered with the taste of sin

I used to,
I used to spend nights, just thinking
about your hands on my thighs.
how you used to claim me without having rights.

I used to, just write about you.
just melt cliche's into things that were fresh,
felt light and new.
I used to, I used to.
want you, want us.
but in between the lines, something got lost.

So many people have suggested that I read your works because you are incredible. I see what they mean, this piece is excellent. The flow is wonderful and other than the fact spent should be spend (like Abed suggested) it is a phenomenal piece.
