Winter Streets

by NiXiT   Sep 30, 2014

The ticking of the clock taking time out of my life, losing every little moment until there's nothing left in sight. So I believe the hype and tried my hand at taking a wife but she turned away faster than the winter sky turned to gray. So I swayed upon the sweeping waves and begged someone to save me, please. Now, snow falls, colder than the ground, colder than my heart, no one around. I walk the night with my slowly numbing feet and I feel the ferocity of the fading winter streets. Empty and alone in a sea of white, as bright as her dress would have been back then.
