Every single day maa...

by Meena Krish   Nov 26, 2014

Colorless mood and vague clouds
an emptiness rings loud,
on a swing of loneliness I sway
as thoughts of you floods today,

The world breathes in shades of gray
while nature's solemn music plays,
once a memorable occasion now slays
as I collapse into a stormy bed today,

Tribute of loving tears quietly pays
upon tender moments it softly lays,
your presence which stood tall and proud
now lost in memories' crowd,

I wish you were still here for me to say
kiss, hug and wish Happy Birthday,
I wish to see you not just for today
but

every

single

day...

Meena pulls the heartstrings again this week by showing the pain that comes when remembering a beloved mother, and wishing time would allow you to be together one more day. The wording in this poem is incredibly touching, and I feel many people will be moved by these words, especially those who have been through such an emotional loss. Truly gripping write.

Smooth rhyme and well chosen vocabularies. The sadness of the poem couldn't hide its beauty. Write on~
