I trusted you with my heart,
But you broke me once again,
Leaving me alone in this dreaded world,
Not knowing what's going to happen, or when.
You were supposed to protect my heart, not hurt it,
But you went along like you didn't know,
I cried, I screamed, I begged,
Silently pleading for you not to go.
But you still left me burnt and broken,
Crying on the pavement that harsh day,
Letting me drown in my own tears,
Putting the razor to my skin right where I lay.
Blood runs out like a waterfall,
A beautiful, ruby red,
Demanding to be unleashed
After everything that you said.
The tears and sorrow suffocate me,
Taking away what air I had left to breathe,
The tears welling up in my eyes,
As I slowly watch you leave.
My heart breaks to pieces as You walk away,
Taking everything that I once had,
Leaving me numb and empty,
Along with being angry and sad.
Anger surfaces and I know it's pathetic,
But there's nothing I can do,
My life is filled with more hurt and pain,
