Still Living.

by Bonaventure Onuabuchi   Jan 4, 2015

Still living?, yes, in our hearts.
But the mourn of your exit lives supreme.
The footpath of grief you left, it blossoms more.
Our tears stuck, joy trammelled ;
When the illuminating gloom lurked,
And the morning echo said,
..."Little Enoch is gone to sleep".

See you here, see you no more.
Body is vanity, soul is eternity.
Vanity bonds with our eyes,
Eternity illumines the inside.

As the grave feeds of the vanity,
We will mourn thee to eternity.
...Sleep well little Enoch...
Thou art awake in our hearts.
If that bed there delights to lie,
Tell we here who lie!
But, if by thorns it blessed,
When do we hope your safe return?
.
.
.
Dedicated to the soul of My cousin, Little Enoch Emeka, (Pastor jnr), who left us on 30th Dec., 2014. May his soul rest in peace. Amen.
