Too Tired...

by JB Guancia Dormido   Feb 17, 2015

So it rains again.
There you are,
By the window, you sit in vain,
Wishing that the answers weren't that far.
Sorrow fills your world,
Pain is what your soul holds.
Tears are falling,
Your heart, torn apart, aching.
Hands are numb, shaking.
Your spirit, caged, screaming,
Alone in agony, struggling.
You've lost all the hope you need,
And doesn't know where else to feed.
Shoulders were tired,
Loaded with burdens too heavy to carry.
Amidst your life lies broken dreams and drudgery.
Trapped in this unending solitude,
Needing a source of fortitude.
Too tired of trying to pretend,
Too tired of such war too hard to end.
