Then and Now

by Midnight suicide   Mar 24, 2015

Driving down these back roads to clear my mind.
Hoping these wounds heal over time.
Take another shot of that southern comfort.
Tripping and falling and wiping of the dirt.
Looking at the pictures we took together.
Those memories I will cherish forever and ever.
I can not stop the tears that are rolling down my face.
I would give anything to go back to that place.
Back to when holding you meant the world to me.
Back to when I was the only one you wanted to see.
Back to when we cuddled and lost track of time.
Back to when I could call you mine.
That time has passed and I will not have it back.
But know that I love you tho my heart has turned black.
