I miss you

by Maureen Munsanje   Apr 8, 2015

As you lie still, faithful between the soil, beneath the grass, asleep for the rest of the days.
My heart searches for you, ignoring the rays of warmth. My heart bleeds, calling out for you.
I may change one day, I may throw away the pages of memories, but will I live up to that day? Will I with all the pain I already feel?
As you lie, faithful between the soil, I walk every step with you on my mind. With sadness, I endure the loneliness. As you lie still, beneath the soil.
