I once met a girl

by Jake Youngblood   Jun 15, 2015

I once met a girl
So beautiful and free
She danced around always with a smile
And never once let anyone see
The pain she had within
I asked if she wanted to go out with me
And to my surprise it was a yes
I took her out dancing
And in that party dress
She danced away with my heart
And i knew from day one
There was something wrong within
Everything I did and everything i tried
Simply was not enough
But the few good days we shared
Got us through the rough
We shared a love that noone could understand
There were some wicked fights
But we both knew exactly who
We wanted to sleep with at night
Finally I knew
There was noone else
Through thick and thin
No matter what
She was my soul mate
My forever
And then my baby died
The demons in her head finally wore her down
My girl in the dress decided to take her life
The day I wad to ask her, to be my wedded wife
So in her casket i placed her ring
And said my last goodbye
With a little note that said will you marry me
Rely when you can my love, I have nothing but time.
