Misfortune Demands Blood

by Eric Ngobeni   Sep 4, 2015

Man does not evade misfortune.
Man is born to surfer!
Disease never warns you, it comes.
Misfortunes follow each other.
There is no way to prevent them.
Oh, sorrows educate,
But grief is bewitchment.
If you vomit beer today,
All your friends and relatives will come.
But vomit blood tomorrow,
They will all be afraid to come.
They may laugh,
And forget that joy brings tears.
Joy calls for trials.
