No More Chapters

I gave too much of myself to you,
not knowing that all you wanted to do
was find out what was broken.

You think you are loving me,
but you can't love me,
you hurt me so much
that all the flowers you planted in my heart
have died from this silence so loud.

I miss you,
but I really want to be free of this pain.
I didn't intend to hurt you,
nor lose everything that we had,
but I guess there will be
no more chapters
in the book
