Blinding Headlights

by Baby Rainbow   Oct 25, 2015

If I begged and if I cried,
would you take back my heart
and never let it go?

If I'm not dreaming,
then we are nothing like we seem,
and I don't think I could ever
keep you in my heart
just to love you from afar.

I'm in the middle of the road,
as headlights of this long goodbye blind me,
and as your departure hits me
it leaves me no time to cry.

But if I begged and if I cried,
and you still didn't take back my heart,
then I'm afraid I really would
have to go.
