In the Memory of A Distant Memory.

by Moe   Dec 20, 2015

It's this time of the year again.
When, I construct a road on broken dreams,
and I embellish it with anguished memories
for any passer-by to join in my misery.
And I wait in fear,
fear of the moment you will come through,
as swift and sweet as you've always been.
Just for that one moment.
You engulf me with emotions so similar to love,
yet as painful as your choice to ignore me
as you cut your way across my road of misery.
Riding the most haunting of our memories.
In a glimpse, you rid me of all the agony,
and then you just leave.
