Cries

by JB Guancia Dormido   Dec 21, 2015

Look into my eyes,
Watch
the gigantic shadows of loneliness.
The flickers of what ifs and regrets.
The broken pieces
of the things
I used to dream
of.
The misery I am hiding inside.
Listen,
Hear
The drippings of blood from the cracked walls of
my arteries and veins.
The shattered screaming of hopelessness.
The muffled whining of my aching heart.
The indistinct humming
of the words I refused
to say.
The needy, helpless little voice
of the self I have
kept from the world.
Touch me,
Feel
The coldness of my flesh.
The marks and the scars of my cuts and wounds.
The rough surfaces of my pain-worn skin.
Hold me,
For I am weak.
I am weary.
I am cold.
I am terrified.
Love me,
And promise me
that you never will ever
ever
let
me
go.
