You New Heavenly Father

by Someone Invisible   Mar 3, 2016

Baby, baby, sweet little girl
You didn't ask to come into this world.
And you cry and cry, scream and yell
Unable to form proper words to tell.
Your mouth is dry, diaper wet
No one listens as you fret.
Mommy's gone, daddy too
They left and forgot about you.
You're tired, starved, and all achy
Your little body's all shaky.
One more wail as you close your eyes
Then you make your way to the sky.
So many colors, so many sounds
So many giggles, no more frowns.
A kind new man cradles you in his arms
He tells you hes there to protect you from harm.

I re read this several times and it tells a very sad tale. I think it would bring solace to someone who had recently lost a baby
