Missing you that's forever gone

by Lilninja   Mar 7, 2016

Into the night comes a soft sweet silence and as there is a warmth that comes over me I feel at peace and lay my head to drift. Down I go slowly into a dizzy slumber but there it is again that painful heartbreak that can never be healed. When there is no sound or sight there it is as always, a painful reminder of your distance past that can never change. What once made you happy at any time leaves you haunted for all your nights. The last tear falls as you fight to push the thoughts away and go back to your dizzy slumber...

    Hello Lilninja

It is very true that whatever makes us happy, in turn, has the power to make us equally unhappy. Almost like Newton's third law of motion: "For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction." (rather damning when applied to love, I would think!) And night is certainly the worst time when feeling this way.

    Great write. All the best,
    Ben
