Cynthia Graver (Acrostic) R.I.P

by Mr. Darcy   Mar 7, 2016

Climbing up she floats now towards
Yellow barley fields swaying in harmony -
New days lay ahead filled with
The knowledge that old barriers that
Held her back have now fallen away;
In this land she is strong - she is an
Angel amongst angels...

Gracing the heavens with love and the
Released revelry, now able to dance those steps
Along a beach of clouds; floating
Victoriously, finally free of her chains...
Eagles fly below you, see their splayed wings;
Remember us as you fly, remember us as you sing.

    Michael, I am lost for words with this and will struggle to comment. This is the best acrostic I have ever read, not just for the sentiment, but for its sheer poetic value. It is beautiful and it is certainly nominated.

    Well done - Cindy would love it,
    Ben
