Blurred

by Baby Rainbow   Mar 16, 2016

A bitter fresh memory
is aching more than ever,
aching within a whispered breath of goodbye.

Grief keeps throbbing,
and hope of relief seems blurred again.

Like a womb with no wall,
I feel exposed -
seeking warmth for far too long now,
warmth I know I will never feel again.

Smoke within these memories
chokes me into tears.

Grief keeps throbbing,
and the hopeful approach to the future
is blurred drearily again.
