False Roses

by Baby Rainbow   Mar 16, 2016

Your radiant smile suddenly left,
only, your voice is still echoing in my mind.

A false charming rose you gave to me,
reminding me that you were not impressed
if I faltered through this "imaginary sadness".

But this fragrant rose is now for you,
to remind you to hear beyond this quiet tone,
hear the dark mind that she is entwined between,
and to ask you to ask yourself
why you ever loved her at all,
if you did not want to love her without a smile.
