Engulfed

by Baby Rainbow   Mar 18, 2016

Feeling the fear engulfing me like a storm,
as forgotten memories jolt me awake.

Frozen by fear in midnight secrets,
covered by the darkness,
but I can still see the past in my skin.

This dangerous addiction
is the only thing I know,
the only thing that makes me feel alive
when I am on my own
and flashbacks are bleeding the truth
upon my pale white arms.
