Suicide Flower

by Baby Rainbow   Apr 9, 2016

She took a deep breath
and whispered a thought into a flower,
blowing the petals away
as sorrow started falling like dust.

Hopes and dreams were slowly growing,
but suddenly they seemed not to rise any more
as they escaped through the gap you left
in my broken heart.

A silent star whispering goodbye,
as the moon beams lead her home.

And the diary of a broken-hearted girl
becomes an open book for the world
that she left below.
