Broken Remnants

by Baby Rainbow   Apr 9, 2016

I know I got it all wrong,
and I am sorry for complaining about your excuses,
it is none of my business why you left,
or why you suddenly stopped loving me.

But I believe that I know you are lying.

You made your choice
to make your love limited,
and my interpretation of you was wrong -

but I still love you -

and you know I always will.

You know I won't forget you,
you know I try and fail.
I tried to make myself let go
but the memories we made
can't ever be destroyed.

So I will hold on to the broken remnants,
and remain forever scarred
by our fragmented memories.
