When they Pass Away

by Maple Tree   Apr 16, 2016

I've plucked petals
in midst of tragedy,
during a time
when souls were
lost within their own

silence-

I can remember
the distance
between memories,
a lifeline for breathing.

Today;

I no longer touch a flower
because I'm too busy watching it pass away.

    "I no longer touch a flower because I am too busy watching it pass away". Wow those words really did it. It's almost like being afraid to getting close to someone because we fear losing them. That is so sad but it is a wall around us so we don't get hurt. Very emotional. Take care
