Falling Apart

by DarkNDangerous   Jun 20, 2016

The void inserts seeds of emptiness,
As the roots grow into my humanity.
Turning into a weed of desolation,
Tightening their grasp on my sanity.

Sanity hollowed like a tree I stand,
As the creatures burrow.
Clawing their way to live inside,
Excavating my mind quick and thorough.

Thorough the voices conspire,
Suffocating with the clay of trickery.
A volcano in dormant obscurity,
Erupts in the tectonic density of misery.

Misery is the ocean I swim,
Making me surf the seas of the prejudice.
Waves of control push me to the edge,
Crash me to the rocks of injustice.

Injustice thrives in these veins of life,
Taunting my reality of endurance.
Protruding through my seven layers of anxiety,
Demanding for the adrenaline severance.

The severance splits the branches of my principles,
The animalistic mind devours the heart.
This forest leaves me lost in the spiral of the immoral,
Trapped in this molten core of eternity to fall apart.
