Pull Thy Trigger

by shloka   Jul 29, 2016

Hurt;
reflects under the mirth,
on your face,
a rare ashen.

Rage;
pure, boiling and seething.
you strike-
Once, twice, I am counting.

A blow, and another,
I wouldn't mind,
I wouldn't bother.
The bruises, and the blood,-
Won't even make me shudder.

But you've cut deeper,
pierced right through the core.
I am in pain,
can you not see, the gory, scene?

Your words, they rush,
they hit and go;
a wound deeper and I am writhing,
can you not see, the dead, soulless body?

Your broken promises;
them useless promises,
wrecked profound havoc in my heart.

A soundless tirade,
and one harboured wish.

So go ahead;
just pull the trigger,
Do it now,
do it sooner.
Don't stop,
so doesn't time,
Aim it well,
and pull thy trigger.
