Heart set ablaze

by arsalan   Oct 24, 2016

The weight of depression buries you, even when you're not affected it worries you;

watching the star of your life burn in acidic tears,
ain't nothing is going to make those tear stains disappear;

no feeling resembles that of soul crushing pain,
no feeling comes close to watching her in tears;

thinking she's ugly but she's an angelic heir,
thinking she's worth nothing yet desirable, my life she makes;
it hurts me so that she dont understand, without her I would be a grain of sand.

Dedicated to Georgia, my one only, I wish I could make you happier.

    Hello there!
    A sad, yet a wonderful poem out here.
    Depression is really bad.
    It makes one anxious, insecure and see the darker side of life.
    I feel she is lucky to have you. Do show her this poem. It's lovely.
