Icemaster

by Chloe the Siren   Dec 28, 2016

Pocket of fire
doused with desire
you fell from the edge
of my lungs
into my heart of gold
glistened with lies
you planned my demise
placing sugar in my breath
vanilla smoke burning in my chest
until the sugar
turned salty
and the smoke grew
sour
the funny thing
about gold is
it eventually
melts with
enough heat
and towers.

Lovely write, full of imagery and emotion. Only word of advice is to use punctuation. But other than that, You did a wonderful job.
