Fun House

Step right up! Experience a depressed mind,
What an incredible place to be."
"Incredible?" You ask.
"Stay with me and you'll see.
Keep your hands and feet inside,
Darling this ride is a whole different cup of tea."

"Watch your step and climb right in!"
The clown holds out his hand.
We enter the old rickety train,
"The most unique ride in all the land!"
He was wearing a bright polka dot suit,
And a candy cane to help him stand.

Screeching we pull into a room with many colors,
Senses are overwhelming the crowd.
Flowers and rainbows smells of fresh air,
Darling little girl holding a teddy bear excitement so loud.
"This is boring!" a passenger yells.
But then we hear thundering clouds.

We head up a chain,
As the little girl is alone.
Slowly she grows up the higher we go.
And the clown still watching solid like a stone.
The train is at the top but it moves forward and back,
Like it can't make up it's mind, all the passengers groan.

He looks down and smiles,
As the dots start to fade.
His hat starts to flatten,
And skin is turning gray.
We sit on the edge of the hill for a moment,
But the train starts to make way!

Intense laughter emerges from behind her,
While she alone has the front row seat.
Intense speed, loops and twists,
Colors and horrors they soon meet!
Plunging into a fiery darkness,
One yells, "Bring on the heat!"

She holds her head so tight,
And the clown now dressed in black.
He has a hood over his head,
And candy is no longer his staff.
She screams and cries!
"Get off of this track!"

We pull into the station as she tries to get off.
The reaper again started to blend!
She's screaming and crying whilst he smiles.
All the passengers yell "again!"
"Where do you think you're going?" He asks.
"This ride for you never ends."

And the screech slowly starts...
