Alone In The Dark

No one hears my silent screams.
hidden in my fearful dreams.
All those that he cast upon me,
have condemned me to be lonely.

I hate myself for being a coward and weak.
Knowing that all I do is still so meek.
The little girl in me is growing.
From all the punches that hes been throwing.

I lie awake at night,
wishing the end of this fright.
Yet it is back by the time of dawn,
and the abuse is now, just too far gone.

Bleeding and screaming I wait for the end
To be sent to my darkness, once again
I wait for the chance to be all alone
Alone in the dark, I'll find my home
