The Untold Lies

by LonelyNightsHurt   Aug 15, 2005

Not an empty coffin
But a hallowed face
Not an ounce of feelings
Not even a trace

People who only know
But who do not care
Are standing alone
Over there

By your grave
Dug 6 foot deep
My tears I cannot hide
They begin to seep

My eyes so swollen
Brusied black and blue
Tender as your heart was
All the way through

* dont know if i want a part 2 * please comment

I decided I better comment so I don't get my head bashed in...HAHA

In so little words you made such a powerful poem...very nicely done...My ONLY suggestion (though in this particular piece it worked) is next time try to avoid starting lines in the same stanza with the same words...it DID work in this piece and I did like it through and through...it's just an idea. Very nicely done!
