i know you are no longer here on earth
and your body is resting in peace
right now as i speak you're shining down
watching us fall to a million pieces

if you were here, you'd tell us to stop
tell us you are OK and you can make it
i always believed you i always prayed for you
you are my hero, my inspiration i admit

for seven months you struggled to live
and through the path of your life you held on
God gave you a second chance
you took it and moved your life on

you spent your time so well
never being negative or anything
you took pride in all you did
always smiling never doubting

i want to thank God for giving us
the miracle that lied inside you
you seemed as if a part of God
sent from him to show us through

Now that you're gone we have
to hold on to each other
stay strong and remember
all the times we shared together

so wait for all of us in heaven
