I pray that you listen to me
I pray that you will be here
I pray that you`ll come to me
that you`ll always be near

I pray that you won`t judge me
like the others do
I pray that you will like me
make me feel something new

Teach me how to love myself
Teach me how to live
Teach me what love is like
I`m no longer a little kid

Break me from this prison
Save me from this hell
Be my teacher . i`ll be your student
Do the Show&Tell

Because right now my life`s messed up
and i need someone`s help
I swear that it is not my fault
on how my cards were dealt

I pray that you will understand me
ignore what the other`s say
They don`t really know me
I`m not the girl from yesterday

I pray that you listen to me

    Congratulations on winni9ng the poem of the week. Ive left a comment in the club, but this is what i wrote:

    Hey hun,
    This is an excellent read. I really enjoyed the repetition you’ve used in all of it, especiaaly the “I pray”. I lovehow you repeted the first stanza again at the last stanza, it is very affective. I also liked your repition of “Teach me” in the third stanza. The overall poem had a great flow and was very emotional. To improve I suggest you use punctuation as it helps the reader, read the poem you want it to be read. But keep writing! A well deserved winner! xx
