Black cloud

Under the black cloud
Lays a lonely young boy
Where did his parents go?
He just doesn't know

They said they will be back
To take him back home
But did they ever come?
The answer is no

He prays to God
To save him tonight
But he doesn't know
If he was listening

He's waited and waited
For someone to save him
But no one came
No one will be his hero

He will die here alone
But he will be with his parents
Up in heaven you see
He just doesn't know

    I think the title fit appropriately. Although it was short, I think it told a pretty nice story. I think it could have been a little mroe deep, though.
